Suzlon Group in Brazil has bagged 24 megawatt (MW) order from Brazil's energy and engineering major Servtec Group for 12 units of Suzlon S95 turbine as a part of the wind power project to be set up in the state of Ceara.
The financial details are yet to be disclosed.
The order is a second one from Servtec Group after 155 MW of wind capacity order earlier.
The project is a partnership between Servtec and the Brazilian investment fund manager, Rio Bravo Investments, comprising of 2 wind turbines.
It is scheduled to be commissioned in phases by December 2013 and is expected to offset over 43,000 tonne of carbon dioxide annually.
Suzlon established its presence in Brazil in 2006. Currently, it has installed 11 wind farm projects with a total installed capacity of 389 MW employing over 180 people.
