Lehman Brothers Holdings announced its exit from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and said it would begin repaying creditors as it moves toward total liquidation.
The former Wall Street investment firm, whose spectacular collapse in September 2008 sparked financial chaos, said it will begin payments to creditors on April 17.
