The Indian markets are witnessing sharp selling pressure across the board as sentiments turned bearish following weak trading Rupee and European shares.
Among the 13 sectoral indices, eleven were trading lower. BSE realty was the major loser declining 1.38%, followed by BSE OIL&GAS down 1.05% and BSE CG slid 0.94%. Gainers — BSE PSU up by 0.72%, followed by BSE FMCG up by 0.45%.
At 3.16 pm, the Sensex was trading at 17210, down by 396 points and the Nifty was trading at 154 points lower at 5230.
