Mphasis has announced the following audited results for the quarter ended January 31, 2012:
Standalone Results:
The net profit of the company fell by 29.41% to Rs147.61 crore for the quarter ended January 31, 2012 as compared to Rs209.11 crore for the quarter ended January 31, 2011.
The total income increased by 7.22% to Rs893.45 crore for the quarter ended January 31, 2012 from Rs833.28 crore for the quarter ended January 31, 2011.
Consolidated Results:
The net profit of the group declined by 18.45% to Rs184.84 crore for the quarter ended January 31, 2012 as compared to Rs226.67 crore for the quarter ended January 31, 2011.
The total income advanced by 11.83% to Rs1395.96 crore for the quarter ended January 31, 2012 from Rs1248.33 crore for the quarter ended January 31, 2011.
At 10.23 am, Mphasis was trading at Rs403.25, down by 6.41%, with a volume of 1.49 lakh shares on the BSE.
