Oriental Carbon and Chemicals is acquiring 50% stake in Joint Venture company – Schrader Duncan Ltd from JV partner Schrader Bridgeport International Inc for R14.53CR.
Schrader Duncan is a JV between Schrader Bridgeport (50%), Oriental Carbon (12.58%) and Cosmopolitan Investments Ltd (11.91%).
Schrader Duncan is engaged in the business of manufacturing of pneumatic components and automotive products such as tyres tube valves, tyre care accessories, etc.
The company employs over 300 people and has manufacturing facility at Mumbai and Nasik. The Company supplies its automotive products to large tyre manufacturers like Apollo Tyres, MRF, CEAT, Goodyear and other Original Equipment customers
