Ramky Infrastructure has bagged three awards across three categories at the 4th Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) meet 2012.
The CIDC was established by the Planning Commission of India. Mr Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Chairman of the Ramky Group, was awarded the Industry Doyen Award. The Ramky Foundation, the CSR Wing of the Ramky Group won “Achievement Award for Social Upliftment” and the company also bagged “Achievement Award for the best project - Transportation Infrastructure” for its work on the outer ring road project in Hyderabad.
The objective of the awards is to recognise and honour the contributions and work of the Indian construction industry fraternity and bring about a change in the construction practices. Mr Rami Reddy in a statement said, “Our endeavour, as a company, has always been to build structures the country would be proud of, and enrich peoples' lives.”
