Reliance Communications (Rcom) has won the network and telecom subscriber contract for Aadhaar, the government’s ambitious national identity card programme, as per the reports.
RCOM, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group ( ADAG) company, is part of a consortium led by HCL Infosystems that has won number repository and infrastructure contracts for Aadhaar.
While the size of the contract won by the consortium is about Rs2,200 crore, RCOM’s share will be in the range of Rs 200 crore to Rs 300 crore, the sources said.
