Akshay Raheja, one of the promoters of Bangalore based Sonata Software has increased his stake in the company on Wednesday (May 09, 2012). Mr Raheja who held 5.47% of the shares in Sonata has increased his stake to 7.85%, according to a filing in the BSE.
He bought 25 lakh shares for Rs4.7 crore. After this share purchase, Mr Raheja holds 82.5 lakh shares in the company. A similar amount has been bought by another promoter Mr Viren R Raheja in Sonata on the day. This has increased his stake to 7.85% in the company.
