HCL Technologies fell over 1% and touched the day’s low of Rs488.95 on the BSE, after its vice-chairman and CEO Vineet Nayar has sold 2.7 million shares representing 0.39% stake of the company for Rs134 crore.

“Post the transaction, his shareholding in the company has become nil. Of the 2.7 million shares of Rs2 each, 1.7 million shares were held in the name of two trusts,” the software services major said in a filing to the stock exchanges.
