Capital Goods stocks lost 0.23% to 3.06%, on BSE on worries that the slowing economy could adversely affect new order flows.
At 12.15 pm, Bhel down by 3.06%, Crompton Greaves down by 2.40%, Suzlon Energy down by 2.19%, Bharat Electronics down by 1.62%, ABB down by 1.64%, Larsen & Tourbro down by 1.60%, Havells India down by 0.81%, Siemens down by 0.61% and Thermax down by 0.55% and Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company down by 0.23%
Capital goods production declined 25.5% in October 2011 over October 2010, data released by the government on December 12, 2011.
