Cinemax jumps on shareholders nod for stock split/news05012012

Shares of Cinemax India gained nearly 8%, touching the day's high of Rs33.30, after shareholders at an extra ordinary general meeting held on 4 January 2012, approved a 2-for-1 stock split.
Cinemax India's consolidated net profit surged 146.7% to Rs6.07 crore on 58% rise in net sales to Rs80.64 crore in Q2 September 2011 over Q2 September 2010.
At 10.18 am, Cinemax India was trading at Rs32.50, up by 5.35%, with a volume of 7,102 shares on the BSE.
