Indian market opened the session on a flat note following mixed Asian cues. Major heavyweight gainers - ICICI Bank, Infy, Hindalco, HDFC, SBI, Sterlite Industries and Hero MotoCorp. The market breadth was in favour of advances. The broader indices rose, with Midcap index up by 0.67% and Smallcap index up by 0.72%.
