Pratibha gains after receiving order worth Rs772 cr/news09012012

Pratibha Industries gains nearly 11% to hit the monthly high of Rs42 on the BSE, after the company secures orders aggregating to Rs772 crore from building division, Tata Housing Development company, Gujarat Water Infrastructure and Dhaka Water Supply & Sewerage Authority.
Pratibha Industries has bagged orders worth Rs772 crore in building and water management divisions. With these the total order book (his share only) now stands at Rs4778 crore, 3.8x FY11 revenues. The total orders bagged in 9MFY12 is worth Rs1,852 crore (taking his share only).
Building division:
Bagged Rs153 crore contract from Rustomjee Realty for the civil and structural work of residential buildings located at Andheri West, Mumbai. The project is to be completed in 26 months.
Bagged Rs136 crore (excluding the cost of cement, steel and shuttering) order from Tata Housing Development company for its project Tata Amantara. This involves construction of 23 buildings at Kalyan, near Mumbai and is to be completed within 27 months.
Water division:
Rs403 crore contract from Gujarat Water Infrastructure for laying 63 km for laying large diameter cross country pipeline to supply water under Swarnim Gujarat Kutch Water Grid programme. It is to be completed within 12 months with O&M period of 5 years.
Pratibha won its 2nd international order and 1st in Bangladesh from Dhaka Water Supply & Sewerage Authority worth Rs80 crore. This is in consortium with Jain Irrigation and Navana Construction to be completed in a year’s time.
