Steel Strips Wheels advanced over 3% and touched weekly high of Rs224.50, after the company’s sales jumped by 22%, So far, 0.12 shares have traded on the BSE as against the two-week average volume of 1.18 lakh shares.
Steel Strips Wheels said that the company achieved net sales of Steel Wheel Rims of Rs9180.35 lakh in March, 2012 as compared to March 2011 figure of Rs7600.61 lakh, recording a growth of 20.78%. The gross sale of the Company has also increased to Rs10517.30 lakh in March, 2012 as against Rs8635.35 lakh in March, 2011, recording a growth of 21.80%.
In terms of Number of Wheel Rims, the Company sold 9.16 lakh in March, 2012 as against 9.10 lakh in March 2011.
The Company have also achieved highest ever sale of Truck Wheel Rims in a single month.
The company achieved the Export Sales of 110064 wheel rims during the month of March, 2012 as against 78140 wheel rims during the month of March, 2011, recording a growth of 40.85%.
