Jindal Steel & Power Ltd ( JSPL) said one of its promoter entities has pledged 1.3 million shares.
In a disclosure to BSE, JSPL said its promoter Opelina Finance and Investment pleged the shares on March 19 in favour of Infrastructure Development Finance Company ( IDFC), the filing said.
Post pleding, Opelina Finance and Investment's shareholding in JSPL came down to 6.85% from earlier 6.99, it said.
