India's central bank said state governments can borrow up to Rs102.40 billion next financial year, unchanged from the limit for the year ending March 31, under the ways and means advances facility.
The facility is a short-term borrowing window extended by the Reserve Bank of India ( RBI) to state governments.
The limit includes the borrowing of the government of the Union Territory of Puducherry, the RBI said in a press release.
