Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals rose over 11%, touching the monthly high of Rs193.40, after the company said that it has received approval from the United States Food and Drugs Administration ( USFDA) for its ANDA (Abbreviated New Drug Application) for Levofloxacin tablets.
The Levofloxacin tablets are in the 250 mg, 500 mg and 750 mg strengths.
