Shreyas Shipping & Logistics' shares rose 20%, touching the monthly high of Rs33, after its board of directors approved demerger of shipping and logistics businesses.
The company said the demerger of shipping and logistics businesses is to enable its wholly owned subsidiary Shreyas Relay Systems to grow as an independent logistics company.
Shreyas Shipping & Logistics reported 93.8% slide in consolidated net profit to Rs0.28 crore on 58.7% rise in net sales to Rs77.05 crore in Q3 December 2011 over Q3 December 2010.
