ABG Shipyard jumps on receiving order from SCI
ABG Shipyard's shares jumped over 7%, touching the weekly high of Rs414.90, after the company received an order worth of Rs500 crore for construction of vessels from the state-owned company Shipping Corporation of India ( SCI).
Following the said order, ABG Shipyard's total order book stands at Rs 16,600 crore approx.
“The company has received a prestigious order for construction of six 63 meter twin screw diesel engine driven 2000 OWT 80T Bollard Pull AHTS vessels from SCI,' ABG Shipyard said.
The price of said vessels is $101.40 million (approx. Rs500 crore) and proposed delivery from 15th to 25th month from the date of signing of contract with a gap of two months for each vessel, it added.
